Our First Winemaker's Dinner: You can almost hear the voices from those who worked the Winery back in the mid-1900's when you enter into the Barrel Room. This makes a perfect setting for you to relax and forget the cares of today! Guests will experience the warmth and aroma of the Historic Barrel Room at Bernardo Winery. Overflowing barrels filled with Bernardo Winery Port and Wine dating back from as early as 1939, are the backdrop of this great NEW event.
Friday, May 4th - Meet the Winemaker Dinner - 6 pm - 9 pm: Enjoy Great Wine and a Gourmet 5 Course Dinner while breathing in and reliving the History of the Winery from the view of the Barrel Room at the Bernardo Winery. This rustic setting sets the tone for an evening filled with great food and stories from the Winery's past. Catering is by Cafe Merlot located on the Winery grounds. The Evening includes a compliment of Bernardo Winery Wines with each delicious bit of your 5 Course Meal! Cost includes Complimentary Wine Glass, Dinner and Wine. Tuesdays with Toni: Held from 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM, starting May 15, 2007, come learn how to go beyond the basics for your everyday busy lifestyle and entertaining needs with hands-on demonstrations, and interactive classes...and of course, wine! We must have wine!.
May 15th - Men in the Kitchen: Spring Fling Seasonal favorites class for men 55 and over. Come learn how to unlock the key ingredients to Springtime favorites and how to WOW you friends while entertaining. Max 44.
May 29th - Women & Wine: The Four Seasons of wine and great food. This class will demonstrate some twists to our springtime favorite appetizers, as well as new ideas to entertain with. Max 40.
Wonderful Wednesdays: Exhibition Cooking in the dinning room or on the patio. Enjoy the culinary talent of our two Chefs on specific Wednesday's thru out the Spring and Summer Customers will be able to create their won specialties and choose from newest ingredients and featured entrees.
Fresh Fridays: Chef 's Daniel and Stella will be cooking up something special for us each and every Friday from our local farmers Market at Bernardo Winery. Organic produce, Vegetarian Specialties will be some of the highlights to select from.
